Then for the monkeys who survive the cargo flights and life at Primate Products in Hendry County Florida,

the monkeys are then sent to research labs all over the USA to suffer needlessly without pain medication and die.


Only to then wind up at Primate Products in Hendry County Florida. Where they are treated as products instead of the living, feeling beings that they are !

Monkey farming has become a lucrative industry in rural Hendry County Florida, where over the past dozen years, the 38,000-person county has become the primate breeding capital not just of Florida, but of the United States, with four farms capable of housing at least 10,000 animals. The four 4 monkey farms make Hendry County FL the primate breeding capital of U.S.

The primates are then flown on 30-40 hour cargo flights. Imagine being a monkey with boundless energy and being crated up as cargo and how much they suffer on the flights.

Primate Products Inc. (PPI) Hendry County Florida

Primate Products Inc. (PPI) is a monkey dealer. It imports, breeds, and warehouses monkeys whom it sells to laboratories to be tormented and killed in experiments.

This is the beautiful Island of Mauritius where the monkeys are captured from their home. The primates ultimately wind up in research labs in hospitals and universities through out the United States.


Eliminating the animal model from non-human bio medical research labs.


The FDA estimated that 92 percent of drugs that pass clinical tests, including animal tests, fail to proceed to market. More recent analysis suggests the despite efforts to improve the predictability of animal testing the failure rate has increased and is close to 96
Promising human-relevant research methods, such as organs- on-chips, sophisticated uses of human stem cells, genomics and proteomics, imaging, and computer modeling, can replace animals. 
 

MPR is an organization that works in collaboration with and supports  primate protection groups in the United States to reduce and eliminate primates being used in research. 


MPR provides funding for aid in establishing primate sanctuaries and for legislative action to eliminate animal testing. MPR is working to build a legacy to end primate research.

We do not have a physical sanctuary, MPR  supports  primate sanctuaries in Florida and in the United States.
